Dark berries, plum, leather, game, herbs, white pepper, and earthy undertones with hints of licorice and dried fruit

Winemaking & Aging

High tannins and acidity provide excellent structure and aging potential. Wines typically require 5-10 years of bottle age to fully develop. Best suited to warm climates where it can achieve full ripeness. Often blended with Grenache and Syrah to add depth and complexity.
