Do I have to enter every bottle by hand?
No. The AI label scanner reads photos of bottles and auto-fills producer, vintage, varietal, region, and pulls expert ratings. For bulk imports, paste a list and the system parses it.
What is Ask AI?
Natural-language search over your collection. Ask things like "Where's my Caymus?" or "What's ready to drink?" and the AI translates the question into a query against your data and gives you a plain-English answer with the underlying results. It also has access to your tasting history and storage layout.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your collection is yours alone — we never share it. When you use Ask AI, your question and the relevant collection data are sent to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate an answer. Anthropic does not train on this data per our agreement. See our Privacy Policy for the full third-party processor list.
How does QR-coded storage work?
Define your cabinets in the app — racks, shelves, slots, depth. Print a sheet of QR codes, one per slot. Scan a slot, scan a bottle, and the system records exactly where it is. Drinking a bottle is one scan. Moving bottles is two scans. Always know what's where.
Does it support multi-depth racks?
Yes — front/back/third/fourth row are all first-class. You won't lose bottles to the back of a deep rack.
Can I run group tastings with friends?
Yes. Create a tasting event with a theme (e.g. "2018 Napa Cabs blind"), invite your group, everyone scores wines on a shared scale, and the system tallies averages and rankings. Works for blind reveals.
What does Pro cost?
Pro is $5.99/month or $50/year (saves 30%). Club tier is $7.99/month or $85/year for tasting-group organizers — each member of a Club needs at least Pro to score wines and participate. All existing users from before the pricing update are grandfathered to their original price indefinitely — you won't be charged retroactively.
Can I export my data?
Yes. From your profile, download a complete archive of bottles, cabinets, inventory placements, group tastings, and scores as a ZIP of CSV files that opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers. Photos aren't bundled (they stay on our servers) — image URLs are in the bottles.csv column. If you delete your account, we erase your data permanently.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your account moves to read-only at the end of your billing period. You keep seeing all your data; you just can't add or edit until you renew. Nothing is deleted.
Do you have a mobile app?
The web app is mobile-first and installable as a PWA — same experience as a native app, no app store needed. Native iOS / Android apps may follow.
