What's New Notifications
You can now see what's been added to WineTracking right from the sidebar. Look for the bell icon — when there are new updates, it lights up so you never miss a feature.

Group Logos
Group owners can now upload a logo for their tasting group. Just click the group avatar on the Share page, crop your image, and it shows up on the group card and tasting pages.

Did You Know? Tips
We added helpful tips to your dashboard that highlight features you might not know about. You can turn them off in Profile & Settings if you prefer a clean dashboard.
- New
Import Wines from Spreadsheets
You can now import your wine collection from a CSV or Excel file. Go to My Wine > Import, upload your file, and map your columns to wine fields. The system auto-suggests mappings for common column names.
- New
Export Tastings to Excel
We added an Export Tastings button to your groups. Select which tastings to export and download an XLSX file with each tasting on its own tab — complete with scores, rankings, and wine details.
- Improved
Click Wine Names in Tastings
You can now click any wine name in a completed tasting to open the full wine detail page. From there, look up expert ratings, find food pairings, add tasting notes, and check valuations.
- Improved
Expert Ratings Now Search the Web
When our AI doesn't have critic scores from its training data, it now searches the web for published reviews. This catches wines from smaller producers that have real reviews online.
- Improved
Tasting Summary Below Expert Ratings
We now show an AI-synthesized tasting summary below the critic scores. It pulls together the key observations from all critics to describe what makes your specific wine distinctive.
- Improved
Better Loading States on All Buttons
Every action button (Get Value, Look up Ratings, Find Pairings) now shows a spinner while working, disables to prevent double-clicks, and displays a clear error message if something goes wrong.
- New
Group Tasting Notes on Wine Detail
When you open a wine from a group tasting, you can now see everyone's tasting profiles in a "Group Tasting Notes" section. Your notes are highlighted at the top.
- New
Member Display Names for Spreadsheet Import
Group owners can now set a "Spreadsheet Name" for each member. When importing tasting spreadsheets, scores automatically link to the right person.
- Improved
Re-import Updates Instead of Skipping
Re-importing a tasting spreadsheet now updates the existing event instead of skipping it. Corrections, host name additions, and score changes are picked up when you re-import.
- Improved
Host Name on Imported Tastings
Imported tastings now show the host's name from the spreadsheet. Instead of just "Cellar Time", you'll see "Jay Nirenberg - Cellar Time" in your tasting list.
- New
Delete Tastings from the List
Group owners can now remove tastings directly from the tasting list. Just click the X next to any tasting — it confirms before deleting.
- New
WSET-Aligned Tasting Notes
We rebuilt the tasting profile to match the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine. New sections include clarity, wine-specific colors, nose condition, alcohol, mousse, and a Conclusions section.
- New
Ask AI Knows Your Tastings
Ask AI can now answer questions about your group tasting history. Try "What was the top scoring wine in our last tasting?" or "Show me the average scores by member."
- Fixed
Fixed Group Membership for Email Formats
We fixed an issue where adding members with display-name formatted emails caused permanent "pending" status. The system now extracts the email correctly.
- Improved
Dashboard Redesign
We reorganized the dashboard with a "My Wine Summary" section that groups your stats, storage filter, and Manage button together. Quick-access buttons at the top.
- Improved
Open Top Area Labels (OA-1, OA-2...)
Cabinet open top areas now use clear OA-1, OA-2 labels instead of raw slot numbers. QR codes, grid view, mobile view, and slot modal all use the new format.

Import Tastings from Your Group
Group owners can now import tasting spreadsheets directly from the Share page. Upload CSV or XLSX files — each sheet becomes a tasting event with wines and scores.
