Friulano is a white wine grape native to northeastern Italy, particularly the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. Known for producing crisp, elegant dry white wines with excellent acidity and mineral character. The grape was formerly called Tocai Friulano but was renamed in 2007 to avoid confusion with Hungarian Tokaji.
